Utah is in the top 10 of states with the highest numbers of CHES or MCHES credentialed health educators with over 500 certified individuals!
Our goal at USOPHE is to promote and advance the health education field and that starts with making sure our members have what they need to become certified and maintain certification.
We partner with the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) to offer continuing education credits for Utah's health educators. NCHEC is the organization from which all CHES and MCHES obtain their certification. They proctor the CHES and MCHES examinations, provide recertification, and credit transcripts to all CHES & MCHES.
